Bookkeeping Tips for Small Businesses
If you want to be a good client to your bookkeeper here are some tips!

-
Remember to send ALL financial information (e-transfers, deposits, invoices, etc) your bookkeeper will require everything in order to reconcile and create financial statements for you
-
Try to be pro-active and plan for upcoming things that might require cheques to be made so that you aren't rushing your bookkeeper to create payments for you
-
Having 1 space to put everything is wonderful, look to see if your church or non-profit has a sharepoint where you can put all the financial information for the month and give your bookkeeper access
-
Although most of us work late nights refrain from calling without a previous appointment
-
Plan to meet with your bookkeeper once every quarter to gove over things, make changes and be clear on your finances
